Hi! I'm a junior and a biology major. My favorite outdoor activity is wakeboarding/wakesurfing. I joined NWW because I am a hiking junkie, and I really wanted to meet some fellow outdoorsy women! I've been able to learn many awesome new skills because of NWW. I adore this club and all the empowering opportunities it provides for women at UW!

Director of Outreach
Hola chicas! I’m a junior working towards a double degree in Economics and Community, Environment and Planning. I’m one of the founding officers of NWW and am overjoyed at how much our club has grown in the past year. I love watching our events bring together outdoorsy women from all across campus in the creation of an inclusive, active and just plain awesome community. Also I’m a huge fan of biking, bouldering, hiking, swimming, running and yoga (especially with friends, so HMU)
Cali Osborne
Director of Relations & Membership
Hey y'all! As director of relations for the club, I will be in charge of communications with the school and organizing the officer team, and for membership, I will be working on ways to keep the adventure available and affordable for all members! I am a devoted raft guide, an avid hiker and backpacker, and an aspiring snow boarder and climber! I'm a junior Public Health major with a focus on Policy and a minor in Global Health.

Hola! I'm a sophomore probably majoring in either geography or environmental science. As an experienced whitewater canoer and backpacker, I wanted to share my skills and love of the outdoors with other people. My favorite activity to do out in the woods and waterways is backpacking although I have recently started rock climbing which I enjoy very much. This club has given me friendships that have made my college experience more than I could have ever asked for.

I'm a junior double majoring in ESRM and Biology. my favorite outdoor activities are rock climbing and backpacking. I joined NWW because I wanted to help create a more inclusive community of outdoor women and meet like minded people. As well as learn about outdoor activities I'm not as experienced in.
Carolyn Hartman
Environmental Sustainability and Stewardship Coordinator
Hello! I am a junior pursuing a dual degree in Environmental Science and Resource Management (ESRM) with a focus in restoration ecology and environmental horticulture and Community, Environment, and Planning (CEP) with a focus in environmental education. I enjoy hiking and climbing but I have yet to actually climb outside. I am also excited to become a raft guide over spring break! I joined Northwest Women with the hopes of finding other women to do outdoor activities with and make new friends, and I have! I am excited to teach the club how to have fun outside while also being awesome environmental stewards!
Shree Mehta
Outreach Coordinator
Hi! I’m a sophomore & my favorite thing to do outside is kayaking, paddle boarding or just being out on the water in general. I joined NWW because I hadn’t gotten to see much of Washington outside of the university/Seattle area and I wanted to get outside. After my first event, I kept coming back because I couldn’t resist being part of the amazing community that this club built.
Caitlyn Hughes
Outreach Coordinator
I am a junior studying Mathematics with a minor in Applied Mathematics. My position as an outreach coordinator is to spread the stoke about our club via email, flyers and tabling. When I’m not crunching numbers or working at the Mathematics Research Library, I love to ski. Nothing makes me happier than making powder turns on steep terrain with good friends. I also enjoy backpacking, climbing and riding my bike. I joined Northwest Women because I noticed that most of the people that I skied, hiked or climbed with were male and I wanted more ladies to join me!
Maureen McLennon
Design Coordinator
I'm a Northern California native who loves being outside: in the mountains or on the water! My favorite outdoor activities are sailing, kayaking, canoeing, hiking, lying on the beach (it still counts!) and I am looking forward to trying skiing and snowshoeing for this first time this winter. Outside of NWW, I am majoring in Interaction Design, minoring in Anthropology, work at a high school, and the clothing store Anthropologie. I love cooking, fun clothing, loud music, and scented candles.

Director of Finance
Hi I'm a junior of five(ish) years studying Accounting! I'm an avid runner, biker, but I would say my favorite thing to do (possibly ever) is hike. I joined NWW on a whim and have met the most amazing people and made friendships that will last a lifetime. This year has been particularly awesome because I've been able to mix accounting and outdoors so I'm living the dream!
Mallory Jackson
Director of Programming
Junior majoring in Physiology and Psychology, Class of 2017 ish probably graduating Winter 2018 but we will see. Fave things to do outside are mountain biking and cycling. I joined NWW at first because I needed a way to get to hikes since I don't have a car, and then I was hooked because I met so many badass chicks that were stoked about the outdoors! NWW creates a really tight community of women and it's awesome to encourage more and more people to pursue outdoor activities.
